Funeral services for Mr. William E. Moore, 74 will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Westview Christian Church. Officiating will be Reverend Gary Boswell. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside Drive.
Mr. Moore was born January 17, 1935 in Ida, LA to Claude and Jeanett Moore. He passed away June 13, 2009 in Shreveport. He retired from General Motors as an electrician.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Helen Goza, Albert Moore, and Gloria-Jean Harrimon. He is survived his wife, Blanche Margaret Moore; sons, Bobby Moore and wife Melanie and Tommy Moore; daughter, Janet Wheat and husband David; grandchildren, Chris Moore, Michael Moore, Dustin Wheat, Tiffany Wheat, Joshua Wheat, and Brittany Moore; great grandchildren, Tristan, Tyler, Brianna, Matthew, and Katlyn Moore and siblings, Claudia Clay, Marcia Chellette, Margaret Ann Etheridge, Lawernce Hickman, and John Hickman.
Pallbearers will be Chris Moore, Michael Moore, Dustin Wheat, Joshua Wheat, Felix Garrison, and Floyd Divine. Honorary pallbearers will be, Pete Taylor, Roy Richardson, Bryan Pilinski, Richard Pilinski and John Pilinski, Sr..
