Funeral services celebrating the life of Warren Doyle Bostic, 83, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Rose-Neath’s Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Stanley Larson pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment will follow in Vivian Cemetery in Vivian, LA. Visitation with the family will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2009.

    Doyle was born October 28, 1925 in Austin, Texas to Eugene and Dorothy Bostic. He passed away on April 8, 2009 in Shreveport, LA, where he was a resident and retired from Delta Airlines as a Ticket Agent.

    His wife, Betty Pope Bostic, his parents and brother-in-law, Jay W. Graves preceded him in death. He is survived by his son, Gary W. Bostic and wife, Sheryl; daughter, Belinda Moentmann and husband, Tim; sisters, Sis Graves and Mary Jean Wilkins and husband, Jack; brother, J.B. Bostic and wife, Esther; grandchildren, Keith Bostic, Josh Bostic, J’nell Sanderson, and Garrett Moentmann; great-grandchildren, Brett and Blake Bostic.

    Pallbearers will be Keith Bostic, Josh Bostic, Josh Sanderson, Garrett Moentmann, Gene Bostic and Clinton Ebey. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Parks and Jim Barnett.
