Tommy Joe Coe

    Funeral services honoring the life of Tommy Joe Coe, 76, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Rose-Neath’s Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Dr. Murray Hodge and Bro. Billy Crosby. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday January 29, 2010 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Southside Chapel.

    Mr. Coe was born on May 31, 1933 in Winnsboro, TX to Thornton Garlan and Lela Marie Coe. He passed away on January 27, 2010. He was a resident of Shreveport and a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church. He was retired from the Coco-Cola Bottling Co. as a Marketing Manager and co-owner of Rose Mary & Associates, Inc.

    He was preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers, Reagan, Ray and Morris Coe and Granddaughter, Hillary Huddleston. He is survived by his beloved friend and partner, Rose Mary Strickland; Sons, Kerry Coe and Carol Lann, Terry Coe and Derrell Lewis, David and Trisha Strickland, Donald and Leah Strickland; Daughters, Wanda and Johnel Huddleston, Karen Ashton, Darlene and Stephen Causey; Grandchildren, Randy and Kaycee Stover, Ashley Adele and Joey Richardson, Shanna and Brian Lumpkin, David Strickland, III, Brittany and Jeffrey Patton, Heather and Chris Glovier, Christopher Causey, Stephanie Causey, Heather and Brian Dean, Taylor Ashton; Great-grandchildren, Gentry Claire Lumpkin, Brody Patton, Brilynne Patton, Kane Valentino Stover, Joley Adele Richardson and Ryder Stover, siblings, William Robert Coe, LaVerne Harris and James Coe.

    Pallbearers will be Randy Stover, David Strickland, III, Chad Morvan, Joey Richardson, Jeffrey Patton, and Brian Lumpkin. Honorary pallbearers are Bob Shell, Johnel Huddleston, Ryan Best, Derrell Lewis, Stephen Causey and Taylor Ashton.
