Funeral services for Rebecca Howell, 67, of Stonewall, Louisiana, formally of Shreveport will be held Monday, January 4, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at Rose-Neath’s Southside Chapel.  Graveside to follow at Forest Park West Cemetery.  Services under the direction of Pastor Glen Rodgers.  Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 before the service at the funeral home.

     Rebecca was born December 7, 1942 and passed away on December 30 while in hospital due to sudden illness. 

     Rebecca was a wonderful mother, friend, and Christian.  Many called her moma and many called her friend.  She was a blessing to know and love.  There is no doubt she is now an Angel soaring free.  She will be missed by all who were able to share her love and her time on earth. 

     She is preceded in death by her parents, Jason and Pearl Anderson, only sister Ethel Roper, and husband, Bobby Howell.

     She is survived by three daughters, Cynthia Evans and husband, Ray, Mandy Dahl, and Tammy Guerra; grandchildren, Michelle Dahl, Selina and Tammera Guerra, and Haylie, Tommy, and Madison Evans; and great-grandchildren, Sharell Dahl and Mya, Tay-Tay, and Willie Baber.

     The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Wendall Wall and Dr. Blair Drummond for their care and the care of the staff.  Also all the love of all mother’s friends who held our hands.
