Born May 7, 1935 to Wright and Lois Graves in Start, Louisiana, Jo grew up and completed her schooling in Transylvania and Lake Providence, Louisiana. She went to be with the Lord on April 29, 2009 following a lengthy illness.

    She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, J.R. Moore. One daughter Debbie Moore, one son Johnny Moore and wife Belinda. One special grandson Ryan and wife Mieke. Her brothers are Boyett Graves (Martha) of St. Joseph, Louisiana and Frank Graves (Glenda) of Poplarville, Mississippi. Her sisters are Connie Moody (Ted) of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jean Hollis (Russell) of St. Louis, Missouri. She leaves a host of family and great friends. She is preceded in death by a sister, Della Allen   

    The family will receive guests on Friday, May 1, 2009 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at Westview

Christian Church, 7188 Greenwood Rd. Shreveport, LA. A memorial led by Gary Boswell and assisted by Erv Duncan will be held at Westview on Saturday, May 2 at 10:00 a.m., where she was a member. Pallbearers will be her nephews.

    Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Greenwood, LA.
