Services for Mark King Hoffee, 50, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 20, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Officiating will be Father J. Carson LaCaze. Interment will follow in Forest Park St. Vincent Cemetery.

    Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the vigil at 7 p.m., Sunday, April 19, 2009 at Rose-Neath’s Southside Chapel.

    Mark was born on March 3, 1959 in Shreveport, LA where he has been a life-long resident and passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2009.  He worked for years as a manger of several different auto salvage companies. He enjoyed flying his remote control planes with all the members of the Shark’s Club, where he was a club member. 

    Survivors include his son, Mark; and one granddaughter, Jazman; his mother, Dorothy Hoffee; one brother, Keith Hoffee, two sisters, Kelly Hoffee-Nasser and husband Don, and Christine Hoffee; three nieces, Ashley and Melissa Estes, and Heather Hoffee; one great nephew, Devin Taylor Brice.

  Mark was preceded in death by his father, Keith W. Hoffee; grandmother, Mary Ethel Poya; grandfather, Al Poya; and great grandmother, Ethel Campbell.   The family wishes to thank ICU of Willis-Knighton Pierremont for their loving care of Mark.  A special thanks to Dr. Cam and nurse Ms. Sherry.
