BOSSIER CITY, LA-Margie Jordan, 83, passed away on August 7, 2008 in Bossier City.  Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Waller Baptist Church with Dr. Cliff Estes, pastor of the church, officiating.  Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City. Mrs. Jordan was born June 27, 1925 in New Orleans, LA.  She was a member of Waller Baptist Church.  Margie enjoyed her career as a registered nurse and had been Director of Nursing at Bossier Medical Center, an instructor at Louisiana Technical College (Vo-Tech) and a volunteer at Grace Home. Her husband, A.D. Jordan and sons, Stephen and Alton Jordan preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Denise Shaffner and husband Gary and sister, Joan Green all of Bossier City; grandchildren, Angela Regan and James, Marti Johnston and Bill; great grandchildren, Nathan Regan, Alex and Abby Johnston and numerous nieces and nephews. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Greg Eseman, Sr., Mike Green, Jonathan Phipps, Greg Eseman, Jr., Mark Green and Jeff Phipps.  Honorary pallbearers will be, Jason Phipps, Denver Green Frede Reutlinger and Stephan Holt. Memorials maybe made to Grace Home, Cornerstone Hospital or to M.D. Anderson Hospital. The family would like to thank the doctors and staffs of Willis Knighton North and Cornerstone Hospital for the care and compassion given to our loved one.
