Funeral services for James Buford Goldsby, 73, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, February 8, 2010, at Rose-Neath’s Southside Chapel with Masonic Rites. Officiating will be Rev. Tom Brown. Interment will follow in Allen Cemetery in Mansfield, Louisiana. Visitation with the family will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, February 7, 2010.
Mr. Goldsby was born on September 21, 1936, in Mansfield, Louisiana, to Clovis Gladys Robbins Goldsby and Sanders James Goldsby. James went to be with his Lord on February 6, 2010, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and active as a Shriner and a member of the Eastern Star.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Gloria Goldsby; sons, Bruce Tedder, Greg Tedder, and Tim Tedder; sister, Sandra Binning; brother John Goldsby; 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; special friends Skip and Sharon Hardin.
