Graveside services for Jack Phillips, 80, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2010 with military honors at the N.W. Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, LA.

    Jack was born on September 8, 1929 to Soloman Alfred and Vida Phillips. He passed away on January 13, 2010 in Shreveport, where he has been a life long resident. He was retired from the oil and gas exploration as a construction worker. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Marguerite and Betty; brothers, John, Sherman and Herman. Left to cherish his memory is his daughters, Deena Dudley and husband, Donnie; Jackie Lansdale and husband, Jimmy; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

    Pallbearers will be Jake Lansdale, Josh Lansdale, Josh Thomas, Mike Maquire, Jim Lansdale and Donnie Dudley.
