Funeral services celebrating the life of Helen W. Hunt will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Rose-Neath’s Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Trey Lewis. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, January 1, 2010 at the funeral home.

    Helen was born on June 6, 1922 in Atlanta, GA. to John and Era Williams. She passed away December 29, 2009 in Shreveport where she was a resident and member of Kingston Road Baptist Church

    Preceding Helen in death were her parents and her husband, David O. Hunt. She is survived by daughter, Loretta Kenderdine and husband Jerry: son, Glenn Hunt and wife, Mary Sue; grandson, Thomas F. White, Jr. and wife, Theresa; great-grandson, Tripp White.
