Elouise Miller Neel, 87, passed away on January 15, 2010.  Elouise was born December 9, 1922, in Vivian, LA to Jesse Franklin and Ola Miller. 

            Elouise loved people and loved to laugh.  She received much joy from her family, friends and customers at Dane Ron’s Beauty Shop which later became L’Image Boutique and Hair Salon.  Her church family at Emmanuel Baptist Church and friendships through work as a hair stylist were a big part of her life.  She was, also, a regular at all of the family reunions where she looked forward to catching up on everyone’s lives. 

            She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Neel, her son, Franklin Neel and granddaughter, Angela Neel.

            She is survived by her brother, John Wiley Miller; sons, Eddie Neel and his wife, Betty, and Jerry Neel and his wife, Patricia, daughter, Ginger Hill and her husband, Rodney; grandchildren, Summer Neel Coxe, Clifton Neel, Jamie Rigsby, Ryan Rigsby, Chrystal Neel Crawford, Zachary Hill and Kirby Hill; great-grandchildren, Shayla Carson, Christian Neel, MaKenzie Neel and Cole Crawford; numerous nieces and nephews.

            Visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Southside on Friday, January 22, 2010, 5-7 p.m. and a service celebrating her life will be at Rose-Neath, Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. with burial following at Antioch Cemetery in Florien, LA at 3pm.

            In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
