Clovis S. Ramey Bing was born to Robert Earl and Bertha Thomas Simpson in Bernice, LA, Evergreen Community and entered into rest on May 30, 2009. She gave her life to the Lord at an early age and throughout her life she truly lived for Him. She wanted everyone to know she loved the Lord and her family.

     Clovis was a member of Ingleside Baptist Church for over 60 years moving to Kingston Road Baptist when the two churches merged. At the present time she was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, Lula Community after her recent move from Shreveport to Converse, LA.

     Clovis was preceded in death by her first husband, J.J. Ramey; second husband, Harold Bing; parents, 6 brothers, 1 sister, and a son-in-law, Bobby Love.

     She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Love; 2 grandchildren, Shawn Sonnier and husband Brent and Shane Love and wife Theresa; 1 great-grandchild, Slade Sonnier; 2 step great grandchildren, Joshua and Jessica Stone; 2 sisters, Faye Rogers  and Betty Holloway and husband Glen and numerous nieces and nephews.

     Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside Drive.

      Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside Drive. Officiating will be Reverend Crawford Williams with Reverend Junior Wash assisting.

     Graveside services will be at Union Springs Cemetery, Converse, LA with Reverend Junior Wash officiating.

     Pallbearers will be Shane Love, Brent Sonnier, Douglas McDonald, Rockelle Bogan, James Thomason, Lloyd Jordan, Terry Martin and Wayne Morgan.

     Honorary pallbearer will be Glynn Hooper.
