Funeral services honoring the life of Billie Conner “ Granny”, 63, will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2008 at Rose-Neath’s Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Roy Brammer, Jr. and Rev. Carol Kordsmeier. Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. at Myrtle Springs Cemetery in Jacksonville, TX. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, August 14, 2008 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

   Ms. Billie was born in Many, LA on February 4, 1945 to Edward and Cynthia Ware. She passed away on August 13, 2008 after a brief illness. She was a resident of Shreveport, a member of Hope Community Church and a homemaker.

    Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Conner, her mother, Cynthia Young, great-grandson, Trenton Brammer,  and brother, Johnny Ware. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Randle Brammer, Roy Brammer, Jr. and wife, Dawn; daughters, Amanda Conner, Samantha Powers and husband Kevin; sisters, Rose Ingle, Carolyn Bennett and husband, Wes, and Judy Wimberly; brother, Tommy Wimberly; grandchildren, Angela Barzare and husband, Tim, Lisa Brammer and Dirk Morris, Aaron and Brandon Watkins, Roy Brammer, III and Josh and Kevina Powers; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler, Alayna, and Nolan Barzare, special friend, Roy Brammer, Sr. and numerous family and friends.

    Honoring her as pallbearers are Tim Barzare, Roy Brammer, III, Dirk Morris, Aaron Watkins, Robbie Presley, and John Howard.
