Funeral services celebrating the life of Audrey Dorothy Chelette Hall, 77, will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, June 27, at Rose-Neath’s Southside Chapel. Graveside ceremony will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, June 26th at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hall was born on April 2, 1932, in Colfax, LA. She passed away on June 23, 2009, in Kerens, TX where she resided, she was formally of Shreveport, where she retired from Caddo Parish Schools after 10 years as a teacher’s aid in special education.
Preceding Dorothy in death were her beloved husband, James E. Hall; her parents, James Randolph and Blanche Sible Chelette; one brother A. J. Chelette, and one sister Mildred Walsworth. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Alan Eldon Hall and wife Susan, daughters, Syble Lynell Lambert and husband Dan; Lisa Eileen Hall; brothers, O.J. Chelette and wife Billie, J.C. Chelette, Robert Chelette and wife Linda; sisters, Margaret Adams, Viola Harlow and husband John; four grandsons, Brian Bozeman and wife Dora, Blake Bozeman and wife Dulce, Jeffrey Hall and wife Lindsey, and James Hall; two great-grandchildren, Peyton and Parker Hall, also by marriage great-grandchildren, Chrystal Soto-Bozeman, Dennis Rodriguez-Bozeman, and Cesar Rodriguez. Many other nieces and nephews were a part of her life.
