A Funeral Mass for Anthony Joseph Lanza, 92, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Officiating will be Father Francis Kamau, Father Henry Kiggunda and Deacon Clary Nash. Interment with military honors will follow in Forest Park St. Vincent. Visitation with the family will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday February 2, 2010 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Southside.

    Mr. Lanza was born on June 22, 1918 in Shreveport, to Joseph and Sarah Lanza. He passed away on January 31, 2010. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He proudly served his country in WWII in the U.S. Army and received Military Honors. He was a member of the American Legion Lowe McFarland Post #14.

    Preceding Anthony in death were his parents, 3 sisters and twin brother. He is survived by his wife, Sarah DeFatta Lanza, sister, Josephine Lombardino, numerous nieces and nephews.
