| SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for Anne Louise Foley Lackey will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2008, at Osborn Funeral Home. Officiating will be Conrad Edwards, associate pastor of Broadmoor United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 13th at Osborn.Anne died in Shreveport on August 11, 2008 at the age of 98. She was born June 28, 1910 in Memphis, Tennessee and attended public schools, graduating from Stuttgart High School in Stuttgart, Arkansas. She graduated from Chillicothe Business College in Missouri and worked in Kansas City, Missouri for several years.She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Donald Lane Lackey, Sr. She is survived by a son, Donald Jr. and his wife Suzanne, of Sugarland, TX; two daughters, Jeri and her husband, Paul Xiques, of Wimberley, TX; and Beverly Glass of Winnsboro, TX; six grandchildren: Jimmy Awl, Debbie Fanning, Sarah Lindeen, Julie Smith, Evie Glass, and Jeremy Glass; and two great granddaughters: Avery and Meagan Fanning; and two sisters: Mary Foley and Emily Hansen, both of Lee’s Summit, MO. Anne was a member of Broadmoor United Methodist Church, the Couples Sunday School Class, and the United Methodist Women. She was active in the Fleur-de-Lis Garden Club, the Arrangers Study Club, the Flower Show Judges Council, and was a National Flower Show Master Judge. She was honored with inclusion in the Circle of Roses by the Louisiana Garden Club Federation.
