Funeral services for Anna Louise Wilcox, 75, will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside Drive. Officiating will be Chaplain Lois Frasier of St. Joseph Hospice. Interment will be in Providence Cemetery.

     The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2009 at the funeral home.

     Mrs. Wilcox was born May 28, 1933 in Shreveport, LA to William and Amy Tilton. She passed away May 2, 2009. She was a homemaker. She was a member and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary and 8 and 40 and was a Volunteer at Holy Angels and also with Telephone Pioneers of America.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Robert Wilcox, Jr. (Tiger) and her parents. Surviving her are her sons, William Jeffery Wilcox and wife Gabriele and Robert Wayne Wilcox and wife Belinda all of Shreveport; daughters, Clara Star Wilson and husband Pete and Sadie Yvonne Anderson all of Shreveport; sisters, Margaret Janeece Jackson of Shreveport and Thelma Tilton Hutchinson of Oklahoma; nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

     Pallbearers will be Jeremy Holder, Verlan Cambron, Jr., Jason Owens, Joe Vance, Danny Free, and Denny Crank.

     A special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice for their loving care of our mother.
